As a buyer, you agree to pay the listed price for any item you purchase + shipping costs.

Items listed in our store are priced in accordance with the condition of the item. All items are thoroughly checked before listing to our site.

You are responsible for reviewing the item description and photos carefully before making a purchase.

All sales are final.

Sell

Consign your luxury items with us!

  1. Contact us (& then submit your item(s) for sale) using our online seller form. We will Your item will be posted on THE FLIPP within 12 hours if accepted. If you do not receive a response, please take it that your submission was not successful]
  2. Drop off/ship your item(s) at our offices [Location will be provided to you on a successful application]
  3. Your item(s) will then be carefully checked, photographed and put up for sale on our website.
  4. Once your item(s) has been sold and received in good order, THE FLIPP will make payment directly into your bank account

Shipping and Delivery

THE FLIPP uses third party courier providers.

Flat rate shipping for addresses within South Africa (National):

  • Standard rate of R150
  • Standard estimated delivery time 3-7 working days

We do not facilitate pick ups/ collections of orders.

Process:

  1. After receiving your order confirmation email, all orders are processed within 2-3 business days (excluding weekends and public holidays). 
  2. Thereafter,  you will receive a notification that your order is on its way. 
  3. Your tracking link and courier information will be provided.

Please note: Due to the courier services being 3rd party providers, we are not responsible for items being lost, damaged or stolen once the order has left our offices. In the case of a courier truck being hijacked, we are not responsible for refunds or returns. 

Commission and Fees

Consigning an item with us is free!

We keep 30% commission of the sale price once your item has been sold.

Included in this 30% commission:

  • Photographing your item
  • Listing and marketing your item
  • Safely storing your item
  • Facilitating the sale of your item (including packaging)
  • 3% fee for payment processing to cover our provider cost

Returns

All sales are final. 

We do not offer returns, unless an item proves to be non authentic. In such a case, you will need to notify us via email within 12 hours of receiving your item. 

To be eligible for a refund, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging, dust bag and box included.

You will need to return your item at your own cost.

Authentication

All items listed in our site have been carefully checked by our team before being listed on our site. 

We take pride in showing great attention to detail and checking every item before it is shipped to the buyer.

As a seller, It is advised that proof of purchase, any certification of authentication/ cards and all original packaging are provided with the item you wish to sell.
